LeagueApps Play is the free app your organization uses for team schedules, messages, and announcements. This guide gets you signed in and shows you where everything is.
Step 1: Download the app
Open the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android) and search for LeagueApps Play, or use these links: App Store | Google Play
Step 2: Sign in
Sign in with the same email and password you use to register on your organization's LeagueApps website. You don't need a separate account for the app.
- Forgot your password? Tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen, then follow the email we send you.
- No account yet? Register for a program on your organization's website first. Then sign in with that email and password.
- Only want to follow a tournament team? Tap Find Tournaments on the sign-in screen. You don't need an account for that.
Sign in faster with Face ID or your fingerprint
After you sign in with your email and password, the app asks if you want to use Face ID or Touch ID (iPhone) or your fingerprint or face (Android) next time. Tap Enable. Next time, tap the Face ID or fingerprint button next to Sign in instead of typing your password. Signing out of the app doesn't turn it off.
If you tap Not Now, iPhone asks again the next time you sign in with your password. Android asks only once.
Step 3: Turn on notifications
When the app asks to send you notifications, tap Allow. You'll get a notification when:
- you receive a new message, coach note, or announcement
- a game or event is changed or canceled
If you tapped Don't Allow, you can turn notifications on later in your phone's Settings app.
Step 4: Learn the four tabs
The tabs at the bottom of the screen take you everywhere you need to go.
| Tab | What you'll find there |
| Home (the LeagueApps logo) | What needs your attention: payments due, your next events, announcements, and unread messages |
| Messages | Announcements from your organization, team chats, direct messages, and coach notes |
| Teams | Every team you're on, with its schedule, roster, staff, and standings |
| Calendar | All your upcoming games, practices, and events. Tap one for details, directions, and RSVP |
Your profile picture or initials in the top right corner opens My Account. That's where you'll find your family members, teams, organizations, account settings, and payments.
Step 5: Start on Home
Home shows only what needs you right now. Each section appears when it has something in it.
- Payment due: tap Pay now to pay what you owe.
- Up next: your next games and practices: today's, or the next day that has events. Tap See all for your full schedule.
- Announcements: up to three current announcements from your organization. Tap See all to read the rest. Announcements go away after their expiration date.
- Messages: your three most recent unread chats and coach notes. Tap one to open it.
- Sign up now: at the bottom of Home, a link to programs from your organization that are open for registration.
If Home is empty, your organization may not have published schedules yet, or you may not be on a team yet. Ask your coach or program organizer.
Step 6: Try these first
- RSVP to an event: open Calendar, tap the event, and choose Yes, No, or Maybe.
- Get directions: tap the event, then tap Go to open directions in Apple Maps or Google Maps.
- Message your team: open Messages and tap your team's chat. To message one person, open the team roster from the Teams tab, tap their name, and choose Chat.
- Add the schedule to your phone's calendar: tap your profile picture or initials, open Members, tap the participant, then tap Subscribe to user calendar. See the full steps.
- Pay an invoice or update your family: tap your profile picture or initials, then tap Manage & Pay.
