Member Locations Report

The Member Locations report is a map view of where all registered players and coaches/staff live by zip code, and an exportable chart of these registered members. You can use the filters to get more tailored member and location insights, and make data-driven decisions for your organization.

⚠️ Currently, members with Canadian zip codes will not display in the heat map.

Ways to Use This Report

This report gives you insight into where your registered members live—or don’t live—so you can identify:

  • Convenient play space locations
  • Areas to focus your marketing to gain more market share
  • Carpooling and bussing opportunities
  • Places to host events
  • Local sponsor opportunities
  • Where to hang out after games
  • And much more!

The advanced filtering capabilities allow you to hone in on registration dates, teams, programs, staff or non-staff roles, etc. so you can make the most informed decisions. By clicking into each zip code, you instantly see the members who fall into that zip code—and their registration details—so you can connect with them directly.

⚠️ To ensure that all registrants fill in their postal/zip code, go to the top-nav menu's Settings dropdown, click Member Profile, and then toggle the Require Member Address field to on.


To view this report, navigate to the Reporting icon and select Reports option under the Analytics header. Then, navigate to the left-sidebar, and select Member Locations under the Registrations & Members section. 

Player & Staff Locations Heat Map

In this map, you can zoom in and out to see where your registered players live and which live close to each other. The darker the blue, the more of your registered players live in that zip code. Adjust the Registration Date and other filters to see further insights.

You can filter the data for this map by selecting options from the filters at the top of the report. Selecting options within these filters will change the data you’re seeing in the chart. If you only want to view player information, deselect True under the Is Staff filter.

Player & Staff Information

Based on the filters chosen above the map, all filtered members registered during the selected time period will populate in the Player & Staff Information table. You can export these members by clicking the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the table, and choosing your export type.

Any of the columns can be sorted by selecting the arrow in the column title, and choosing which sort option you would like to use.

Exporting, Bookmarking, Sending, & Scheduling

If you added any filters to customize this report to your needs, you can save that filtered report as a bookmark so that you are able to access it in the future. You can bookmark the report by clicking the bookmark dropdown in the bottom right of the report and selecting Save as new bookmark.

You can also save one of your Bookmarks as the default, so that bookmarked filtered report that will open when you navigate to that specific Analytics report.

⚠️ Currently, bookmarks cannot be scheduled to send. You are able to export your bookmarked report at any given time, but cannot schedule it to send ahead of time.

Any report or dashboard from LeagueApps Analytics can be exported by
selecting the three horizontal lines in the bottom left corner of the screen, and then selecting Schedule export or Send now. You can choose to schedule exports at specific days and times, and with specific conditions (e.g. only if new data has occurred).

You can then choose email addresses—whether they’re part of your organization or not—to send it to, and the cadence you would like the export to occur at. Depending on the report or dashboard, you can export the data as CSV, Excel, or PDF.

⚠️ Be sure that the Run queries as recipient checkbox is not checked when sending reports to any recipients besides yourself.
