The Player Retention Report allows you to see how much your organization has retained players as a percentage rate or in terms of amount paid. This data is available across your organization and for individual or multiple sites within your organization (if applicable).
Navigation & Filtering
To view this report, navigate to the Reporting icon and select Reports option under the Analytics header. Then, navigate to the left-sidebar, and select Player Retention under the Registrations & Members section.
You can filter the data for both charts by selecting options from the filters at the top of the report. Selecting options within these filters will change the data you’re seeing in the chart:
- Site Name
- First Program Name
- First Grouped Program Name
- First Program Type
- Payment Status
- Current Role
- Registration Status
- Only View Specific Program Types
Retention Percentage from First Year
In the first chart, you are able to see how much your organization has retained players as a percentage rate, based on the filters you choose at the top of the report. Any of the columns can be sorted by selecting the arrow in the column title, and choosing which sort option you would like to use.
Retention Total Amount Paid from First Year
In the second chart, you are able to see how much your organization has retained players in terms of amount paid, based on the filters you choose at the top of the report. Any of the columns can be sorted by selecting the arrow in the column title, and choosing which sort option you would like to use.
Exporting, Bookmarks, Sending & Scheduling
The chart can be exported or filtered by hovering over the top right corner of the chart and selecting your desired options.
If you added any filters to customize this report to your needs, you can save that filtered report as a bookmark so that you are able to access it in the future. You can bookmark the report by clicking the bookmark dropdown in the bottom right of the report and selecting Save as new bookmark.
You can also save one of your Bookmarks as the default, so that bookmarked filtered report that will open when you navigate to that specific Analytics report.
⚠️ Currently, bookmarks cannot be scheduled to send. You are able to export your bookmarked report at any given time, but cannot schedule it to send ahead of time. |
Any report or dashboard from LeagueApps Analytics can be exported by selecting the three horizontal lines in the bottom left corner of the screen, and then selecting Schedule export or Send now. If you have filtered your report, click here for instructions to export it.
You can choose to schedule exports at specific days and times, and with specific conditions (e.g. only if new data has occurred),
You can then choose email addresses—whether they’re part of your organization or not—to send it to, and the cadence you would like the export to occur at. Depending on the report or dashboard, you can export the data as CSV, Excel, or PDF.
⚠️ Be sure that the Run queries as recipient checkbox is not checked when sending reports to any recipients besides yourself. |
Schedule Sends of a Filtered Report
On any report, scroll to the three horizontal lines in the bottom left corner of the screen, and then select Schedule export.
Click Add Schedule.
Add your recipient email address, and update your subject and message as desired. You can choose to select the type of attachment that you want: Excel, PDF, or PNG. Then, scroll down to continue the setup.
Select the frequency you want your scheduled export to run.
Click Customize Control Values to set up your filters. Search the box next to Controls to see what filter options you have available. After you select the control choose which Value you would like to filter on. For example, this user has selected Site-Name “LeagueApps Soccer” and Registration Date “Last 2 Months”

Additionally, you can run queries as a recipient if they have different permission levels from you or send the files as a .zip file.
