The messaging center has a new email editor. Drag in headings, photos, buttons and files to build your email, and it will look great whether families open it on a laptop or a phone.
You'll find it in Compose a Message, Email Templates and Email Settings.
What you can do now
- Put photos, text or sponsor logos side by side with the Layout tool.
- Add a Button, such as "Register now" or "View the schedule," that links to any page.
- Send families straight to registration. Link any text or button to a program's registration page with Register for a Program.
- Attach schedules, forms and flyers with the Attachments tool, up to 10MB per file.
- Paste from Google Docs or Microsoft Word, and the formatting carries over.
- Write and send emails from your phone in Admin mode in the LeagueApps mobile apps.
Where things moved
| If you used to | Now |
|---|---|
| Format text with the toolbar above the message box | Drag tools from the right side of the editor into your email, then click a block to edit it |
| Click Attach File | Drag in the Attachments tool |
| Click Preview email | Use the preview inside the editor |
| Watch the character counter | There's no counter. If an email is ever too long, you'll see a message when you send it. |
| Use the More Message Actions sidebar | Find Email Contacts, Email Settings, Email Templates and View All Sent Emails in the Messaging menu at the top of the console |
| Click Preview Template in Email Templates | Click the view icon next to the template |
| Edit a template's HTML in the source view | Drag in the HTML tool |
Your templates still work
Every template you've saved is still in Email Templates, and it opens in the new editor. Pick one from the Choose template: menu in Compose a Message, the same way you did before.

FAQ
Do I need to do anything?
No. Your templates, email contacts and settings carry over. Once your site switches, you'll be in the new editor the next time you compose a message.
Why does one of my sites still have the old editor?
We're moving sites to the new editor one at a time, so your sites may switch on different dates.
Who can help if I get stuck?
