Export LeagueApps Data to Import into Sports Connect

Admins and organizers can export registrant details from LeagueApps and import this data directly into Sports Connect (i.e. Affinity, Stack Sports). 

Step 1: Turn on Required Form Fields in LeagueApps

1. Sign in to your LeagueApps Management Console
2. Go to the Settings dropdown and click Member Profile under the Members header
3. Under Basic Field Settings, click the toggle on for the following:
   1. Require Member Address
   2. Require Child Birth Date
      
   3. Collect Parent/Adult Mobile Number During Registration
   4. Require Parent/Adult Mobile Number When Collecting During Registration

Step 2: Export from LeagueApps

1. Sign in to your LeagueApps Management Console
2. Tap the Search icon in the top right corner and type in your team or league name in the search box
3. Hover over the People tab and click Players
4. Select any Filters if applicable
5. Click the Export to CSV button
6. In the pop-up, these columns must be selected to be included in the export (as well as any other columns you would like to include):
   • First Name
   • Last Name
   • Gender
   • Birthdate
   • Parent 1 First Name
   • Parent 1 Last Name
   • Parent 1 Mobile Phone Number
   • Parent 1 Email 
   • Address
   • City
   • State
   • Zip
7. Click the Export button in the pop-up

Step 3: Map Data Columns in Sports Connect Template

1. After the file automatically downloads, open the file
2. Click to download and open the Sports Connect / Affinity / Stack Sports Player Upload Template
3. Copy the following data from your LeagueApps export file and paste it into the associated column in the Sports Connect / Affinity / Stack Sports template:
   • Last Name = PlayerLastName
   • First Name = ParticipantFirstName
   • Gender = Gender
   • Birthdate = DOB
   • Address = Address
   • City = City
   • State = State
   • Zip = ZIPCODE
   • Parent 1 Last Name = Parent1LastName
   • Parent 1 First Name = Parent1FirstName
   • Parent 1 Mobile Phone = Parent1HomePhone
   • Fill in any other optional columns in the template
4. Fill in the remaining four Required columns (SeasonID, SIDCode, Season, PlayLevelCode) in the template with information found in Sports Connect
   • For PlayLevelCode, double check with your state admin for your designated state codes
5. Save the Player Upload Template excel file

Step 4: Import LeagueApps data into Sports Connect

1. Log into your State Association's Sports Connect / Affinity / Stack Sports portal
2. Click the Help Center tab
3. Click Access your Organization's Help Center
4. Click Submit a request at the top right of the screen
5. Complete the required fields and attach your Affinity Upload file for upload
6. Upload the player data based on your organization's requirements and use the state provided template
7. Reach out to the state association directly of any issues or process questions
