For club administrators with Elite Academy, view the video below for steps on how to complete your registration into your team(s). After completing your registration, you’ll also see guidance on how to invite players and program staff to your team(s) in the Elite Academy.
This kickoff guide walks Club Admins through getting a team up and running: finding your team registration email, logging in, inviting players (by copying a previous roster or inviting new players), inviting your program staff, tracking pending invites, and reading each registrant's status on your roster.
Use it at the start of the season to get everyone invited and to understand what the roster statuses and icons are telling you.
- Find your team email and log in
- Invite players with Copy Players
- Invite a new player
- Invite your program staff
- Track pending invites
- Read registration and compliance statuses
Find your team email and log in
Locate the team registration email sent to you. The subject line will contain "Registration Status" along with either "EA 2026-2027" or "EA2 2026-2027," followed by your team name and age division. From this email, click the Manage Team or Send Team Invites button to begin inviting players and staff to your team.
You will be prompted to log in with your LeagueApps credentials.
| ⚠️ Log in using the same email address that received the Team Registration email. Using a different email can prevent you from accessing your team. |
Invite players with Copy Players
Once logged in, there are a few ways to invite players. The first option is the Copy Players button, which is useful when your players were on a previous team.
- Select the Copy Players button.
- On the Copy Players page, use the dropdown at the top of the page to select the previous team your players were on. Once the team is selected, the players will populate with checkboxes next to their names.
- Select the players you'd like to invite, then click the Invite button at the bottom of the page.
- Additional text boxes will appear beneath the Invite button, allowing you to customize the invite email's subject line and messaging. If no customization is needed, you may send the invite as is, and a default email will be sent to the players' parents.
- Once you've confirmed the messaging, click the Start button at the bottom of the page to send your invites.
Invite a new player
If you need to invite a player who was not on your previous roster, use the Invite Players option instead.
- At the top of your roster, hover over the Invite dropdown and select Invite Players.
- Enter the email address of the player's parent. You may also customize the invite email on this page.
- Once these fields are complete, click Send Invites.
Invite your program staff
To invite your program staff (team manager, head coach, assistant coach) to the team:
- Hover over the Invite dropdown at the top of your roster and select Invite Staff.
- Enter the email address of your staff member, then use the role dropdown to select which position they are being invited to register for.
- You may also indicate whether they will have a child registering for the team, and customize the invite email messaging if needed.
- Once these fields are complete, click Send Invites.
Track pending invites
To keep track of the players and staff you've invited, hover over the Invite dropdown at the top of your roster page and select either Pending Player Invites or Pending Staff Invites.
Once a player or staff member registers through your invite email, they will be removed from the pending invites tab and will appear on your team roster.
Read registration and compliance statuses
Once players and staff start completing registration and compliance requirements, their completion statuses populate directly on the roster.
- Green checkmark: The registrant is fully registered on the LeagueApps end, is paid for in the team invoice, and will transfer to MOD11.
- Spot Pending: The player has not been paid for in the team invoice.
- Incomplete compliance: Hover over the incomplete label to view what the registrant may still be missing.
As a player uploads their profile photo, the initials to the left of their name will update with the player's headshot. If the initials remain, the player has not yet uploaded a profile photo.
| ⚠️ A Spot Pending status reflects payment, not registration. If a player has registered but still shows Spot Pending, confirm they have been paid for in the team invoice. |
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between Copy Players and Invite Players?
Use Copy Players to invite players who were on a previous team — you select their prior team from a dropdown and check off who to invite. Use Invite Players for anyone who was not on your previous roster by entering their parent's email address directly.
A player registered but still shows "Spot Pending." Why?
The Spot Pending status means the player has not yet been paid for in the team invoice. It is tied to payment rather than registration, so confirm the player has been paid for on the invoice to clear it.
Why do some players show initials instead of a photo?
The initials to the left of a player's name update to their headshot once they upload a profile photo. If the initials remain, that player has not uploaded their profile photo yet.
How do I see what a registrant is missing for compliance?
On the roster, hover over the incomplete compliance label for that registrant to view what they may still be missing.
