If your player is 18 years of age or over, this EAL guide walks you through the full process: accepting your invite, creating or signing in to your LeagueApps account, setting up the parent and player profiles, completing the registration questions and waivers, fulfilling your SafeSport compliance requirement in Ankored, and uploading your profile photo.
Follow the steps in order. Every requirement must be completed before the player is eligible for the game day roster.
EA U19 SAFE SPORT
Players turning 18 years of age during the season, complete your Safe Sport prior to turning 18.

Accept your invite and sign in

Locate the registration invite email sent to the email address of the player being invited into the team. The subject line will resemble "[staff name] is inviting you to join team [team name]". From this email, select Accept Invite or the registration link provided.
- You will be led to the LeagueApps sign-in page.
- First Year Players: If this is your first year registering your player, populate the fields under Create a LeagueApps Account. Enter your first name, last name, and the email address you were invited with, then create a password. After creating the account, you will be redirected to sign in with these new credentials.

Returning Players: If you are a returning player, skip the fields shown and click the Sign in With LeagueApps link at the bottom of the page. Use your existing LeagueApps credentials to log in.
| ⚠️ Be sure to use the same email address the invite was sent to. Using a different email can prevent your invite and player registration from linking correctly. |
Set up your profile
After signing in, you will be led to the member profile page.
- First Year Players: If this is your first year registering your player, the first member profile page will be the Parent profile. Populate the fields with your information. After creating the parent profile, the next step is to create the Player profile. Populate those fields as well.
- Returning Players: If you are registering a returning player, after logging in you will be prompted to select and confirm the player profile who is registering.
Complete your registration

Answer the required registration questions. Fill out all required fields and select Next at the bottom right of the page.

Next, fulfill the required waivers. Read the content of each waiver in full, then select the checkbox for each waiver to acknowledge and agree to the terms. Once all waivers are agreed to, click the Register button that appears underneath these fields.

From the registration summary page, click the Complete button.

From the registration confirmation page, click the Skip button to navigate to the member dashboard
At the top of your dashboard you will find additional requirements to fulfill: Compliance and Photo Upload.
Complete your compliance requirements
- Click the Complete your Compliance link. You will be redirected to the LeagueApps sign-in page. Sign in with the same email credentials used during registration. The homepage will display all requirements that must be completed to be eligible for the game day roster.

- Click the Select button next to the name to open the SafeSport certificate requirements.
Complete the SafeSport course
- Select Complete Online to be redirected to the SafeSport website.
- Login or Sign Up: If you have an account, log in at the top right. If it is your first time, fill out the sign-up page.
- Complete the course through your SafeSport dashboard and download your certificate of completion once finished.
| ⚠️ Ensure the name used for SafeSport matches the player name used in Ankored and LeagueApps exactly. A mismatch can delay verification. |
Upload documentation for review
- Return to the Ankored dashboard.
- Below the Complete Online button, select Upload.
- Enter the date the certificate was completed and upload the certificate file.
- Click Finish to submit.
- Your status will show as Pending Review while the submission is being verified.
Upload your profile photo
- Return to your LeagueApps dashboard and click the Upload your Profile Photo link.
- Underneath the image icon, click the upload button and select an appropriate headshot photo. Once you make a selection, the icon will update with your photo and a remove button will replace the upload button.
- Scroll beneath the profile questions under the photo and click the Edit button to save the photo upload.

Frequently Asked Questions
My player is turning 18 this season. Whose name should appear in compliance?
When you open the compliance homepage, verify the name displayed. Players who are already 18 will see their own name, while parents of players turning 18 will see the parent's name. Select that name to open the SafeSport requirements.
My SafeSport certificate isn't being accepted. What went wrong?
The most common cause is a name mismatch. Make sure the name used on your SafeSport account matches the player name used in Ankored and LeagueApps exactly, then re-upload the certificate for review.
Why does my compliance status say "Pending Review"?
After you upload your certificate and click Finish, your submission is verified before it is marked complete. A Pending Review status means it has been received and is awaiting verification.
