If you have been invited to join a team as staff, this guide walks you through the full process: accepting your invite, creating or signing in to your LeagueApps account, completing the registration questions and waivers, fulfilling your compliance requirements in Ankored (SafeSport, membership, background check, and more), and uploading your profile photo.
Follow the steps in order. Each requirement must be completed before you are eligible for the game day roster.

Accept your invite and sign in
- Locate the registration invite email sent to the email address you were invited with. The subject line will resemble "[staff name] is inviting you to join team [team name]". From this email, select Accept Invite or the registration link provided.
- You will be led to the LeagueApps sign-in page.
- New Staff: If this is your first year registering, populate the fields under Create a LeagueApps Account. Enter your first name, last name, and the email address you were invited with, then create a password. After creating the account, you will be redirected to sign in with these new credentials.

Returning Staff: If you are a returning team staff member, skip the fields shown and click the Sign in With LeagueApps link at the bottom of the page. Use your existing LeagueApps credentials to log in.

Complete your registration
- Once signed in, you will begin the registration flow. The first step is to answer the required registration questions. Fill out all required fields and select Next at the bottom right of the page.
- Next, fulfill the required waivers. Read the content of each waiver in full, then select the checkbox for each waiver to acknowledge and agree to the terms. Once all waivers are agreed to, click the Register button that appears underneath these fields.
- From the confirmation page, click Go To Your Dashboard.
On your dashboard you can view your staff assignments, including your program and role, and click directly into your team to view the roster. At the top of your dashboard you will find additional requirements to fulfill: Compliance and Photo Upload.
Complete your compliance requirements
- Click the Complete your Compliance link and log into Ankored using the same email address used for LeagueApps. The homepage will display all requirements that must be completed to be eligible for the game day roster.
Required items
- SafeSport: Select Complete Online to start the course. Once finished, download your certificate of completion and re-upload it into Ankored for review.
- USSA Membership Fee: Fill out the required form and submit the $10 fee.
- USSA Waiver: Complete and submit the fillable document.
- Background Check: This is completed through JDP and handled securely within the compliance element.
Requirements that are already finished will be marked as complete, or shown in green, in the portal. You will receive email notifications regarding outstanding requirements or upcoming expirations.

Upload your profile photo
- Return to your LeagueApps dashboard and click the Upload your Profile Photo link.
- Underneath the image icon, click the upload button and select an appropriate headshot photo. Once you make a selection, the icon will update with your photo and a remove button will replace the upload button.
- Scroll beneath the profile questions under the photo and click the Edit button to save the photo upload.

Frequently Asked Questions
I was invited but never received the email. What should I do?
Check your spam or junk folder for an email with a subject line resembling "[staff name] is inviting you to join team [team name]". If you still cannot find it, confirm with the person who invited you that they used the correct email address, and ask them to resend the invite.
I registered last year. Do I need to create a new account?
No. Returning staff should skip the account creation fields and use the Sign in With LeagueApps link with your existing credentials.
Why don't I appear on the game day roster yet?
You must complete every compliance requirement in Ankored before you are eligible for the game day roster. Log into Ankored to confirm each item shows as complete or green, and watch for email notifications about anything still outstanding.
