Go to App Center > Voice Line.
The Voice Line is one of the new Premium Apps that allows you to create an automated message that members of your league will hear when they call your unique number. You can use it to announce weather delays, game cancellations, or other general, league-wide information.
Enabling the Voice Line App
At this point, you are now in a position to enable the Voice Line. There is only one option for payment plans for the Voice Line. The payment plan is as follows:
|Cost (recurring billing)||# calls per month||Cost per additional call over the limit|
The App fee is included in monthly invoice sent to the partner. The app can be deactivated at any time.
Note: The paid Apps may only be enabled by partner account owners on organization accounts that have existing billing record(s). This means that the organization account is a “paying customer”, having either:
- Hooked up a payment gateway
- Paid a customer invoice (launch package or standard monthly invoice) via credit card
- Voluntarily supplied credit card info
Congratulations! You have now activated the Voice Line through your LeagueApps site.
This feature can be used to notify players, coaches and parents of any game changes, weather delays, unexpected cancellations or any other announcement that you wish to make available to your users.
Configuring the Voice Line App
Once you have enabled your Voice Line app you will need to do just a few things before you can start using it for contacting your members. Follow the steps below to get started with using the Voice Line app.
If you have already enabled Text Messaging, your chosen phone number will be displayed here. If not, you must choose a number for your Voice Line now. The process to do so is as follows:
Enter the area code that you want for your Voice Line, and click “Find a Number”. This will generate a list of specific numbers that your members can call in to hear your Voice Line message.
NOTE: Once the Voice Line App has been enabled, this number cannot be changed.
Browse this list of options and when you are satisfied, select a number from this list and click “Choose This Number”. This will become the phone number associated with all Apps that you purchase on the App Center that make use of a phone number.
You are now ready to use the Voice Line app!
