Creating Content Pages

Content pages are custom pages on your LeagueApps site that you can add to the pre-existing default pages. You can create as many custom pages as you wish and control the content on each page.  Follow these steps to learn how to these pages!

Step 1

Go to Content > Pages > Create New Page.

From here you can create either an internal or external page. An internal page is one whose content can be edited through the LeagueApps platform while an external page is a page that you can link to from the LeagueApps platform. 

For Internal Pages

Step 2

Enter Page NamePage Title, and Internal URL. (NOTE: Similar to your website URL, it’s very helpful to name your custom pages based on keywords.  Read our blog post for more tips on how to leverage SEO strategy.)

Then select if you want to Link to this page from main menu.  If you choose this option, you can (i) select an existing menu item to link your page to, or (ii) add a new top menu item with a menu label.

Step 3

Enter your content under Page Content.  Use the formatting toolbar to format your text, insert any images (using the mountain icon), file attachments (paperclip icon), or add any HTML code ("< >" icon).

You can also go to "Advanced Properties" to customize your header, META description and META keywords. 

Select the "Preview" feature to see how your page looks before making any updates.  Then select "Create" once you are finished. For information on editing your mobile site, Click here.


For External Pages

Step 2

Enter Page NameExternal URL.  (The External URL is the URL of the page to which you are linking. Ex- If you want your page to appear on your main menu, check the box labeled "Link to site page from main menu. Once you are satisfied with your choices, click "Create Page."
